You know what we're here for, so let's make this quick.
Hello, my name is Sarah Lee Fletcher. I am currently 19 years of age, of Scottish descent, and I grew up in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Tell us more about yourself.
I have completed High School education in my home state of Western Australia, actually fast-tracked by two and a half years due to good grades. My mother is a single mother, working as a secretary in a national banking corporation.
I was part of the Australian Archery Team, specifically I was the vice-captain of the U-17 and U-19 squads. I have a strange feeling, however, that due to me and my captain sharing a fair amount of similarities, we might have been cousins twice removed, or something along those lines.
My ancestors - the maternal side that I know of, at least - moved over to Australia from Stonehaven, Scotland in the United Kingdom. I am thus a fourth generation Australian with a valid Australian passport.
I am 1.71 m or 5 feet 7 inches tall. My date of birth is 17 August. Which year is up to you to figure out - you do the math. I have a fairly light shade of hair to begin with - it is actually a slightly faded lilac colour, mixed in with lighter and heavier shades. My eyes are of a dark blue tint, although it may seem lighter under greater amounts of light. My hair is almost always kept past shoulder length, and I prefer not to tie it up unless it is absolutely necessary. I do, however, keep some braids here and there sometimes - it keeps my hair neat and fairly manageable, in any case. I generally wear light, but comfortable and fitting clothes, although I try to make sure I at least look decent and presentable with my clothing combinations.
I think of myself as having a rather light-hearted personality. I tend to let small things slide, giving people the benefit of the doubt when they deserve it.
Chocolate is my guilty pleasure. I generally favour any bar with a cocoa content of over 70%, although sometimes I do opt for the sweetened chocolate bars. By extension, yes, I do like chocolate snacks, however they shouldn't be too sweet.
I am fairly proficient at video games, being Supreme Master First Class in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. My favourite buy in Counter Strike: Global Offensive is the AWP, and my specific playing style is the flick shooter.
However, I don't think games are really my sort of thing now. You see...
I am currently "missing" in the eyes of the state. I am no longer under the coverage of the law of Western Australia, let alone the coverage of the law of Australia for that matter. It was when I was yet to compete in my last archery tournament for the U-19s. I was 18 and a half.
We were on the flight over to Singapore for the Regionals. Wasn't supposed to be that long, only about 4 hours and a half. QF315, that flight was. An Airbus A320, if I remember correctly. The entire team was on that flight - the U-17s, the U-19s, the U-21s, and the Open squads were all there.
Our flight didn't make it to Singapore, though.
You see, our plane temporarily disappeared from radar while we were passing over the Java Sea in Indonesia. The pilots made an emergency decision to land the plane in Soekarno-Hatta - probably the best choice, considering we weren't about to crash into the sea at any cost.
And we did - that wasn't the problem. The problem was what came after.
Explosions. Both of the engines. Big boom.
We were all thrown out in the explosions - probably fortunate we did, however, considering we'd have perished if we kept ourselves strapped inside - and sooner rather than later I found myself on the tarmac, with a Garuda Indonesia plane about to take off from the runway one north of the one I saw right in front of me. I was on the grass, facing north - the plane wreck was on the tarmac, to the south.
Thing was, the engines weren't the only things to explode. When you've got a blazing fireball just metres away from you, and you've got fuel leaks...
The fear I had wasn't from the rapidly spreading flames. It was that they were so horrifyingly large that they seemed to mask something - almost like some being, some apparition - coming towards me.
I ran.
The flames died out soon after, but not whatever that was chasing me. My trusty compound was still with me, though - I had dragged it along on the flight that we had specially chartered, and I was still hauling butt with it. It was with me since I was really young - I don't even know how, or why my mother kept it for me. (It wouldn't be for another 11 years following my birth that I could actually manage to handle the draw weight.)
My faith was on the captain of our squad to take care of the others - for now, I just had to run for my life. Into the forest I went - it was still chasing me.
I sought refuge behind a fairly large tree. I readied my bow. Notched an arrow.
Revealed myself barely a few metres away from the monster that was chasing me.
I shot.
I was not going to miss.
Clean through the head.
The immediate threat was gone.
But I didn't pay attention to where I came from - I just ran.
And you know how people get lost in forests very often? Sometimes they don't remain in the forest, actually - they cross over to another world altogether.
And I was lost.
I didn't remain.
I crossed.
One arrow from my quiver of golden arrows that I had won from a previous tournament was used for payment. I wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but thankfully I was free to go after I had "paid".
The arrows shone shortly after, though.
A small symbol.
The letter Ἀ.
The letter π.
The letter ό.
The letter λ.
The letter λ.
The letter ω.
The letter ν.
All in brilliant golden font.
What about now? What have you been doing since, and what do you plan to do now?
I live in Neo Athens, which is in this place I only know as Lemuria. Thankfully I've found accommodation, and I've not had any immediate threat to myself for a while. I plan to get my life in order first - get myself used to my new surroundings, before I even think of heading back to Fremantle. I know the team is worried sick, but they've waited for long - they can wait for a while more. Mum knows I'm fine - it's just something that she just knows. And when I head back to Australia, I still have my Australian passport with me, so I can count myself lucky that I wouldn't just slip under the radar just like that.
Right. Thank you for your time, wishing you all the best with your life from now onwards.
Thank you.
Predator (Tier 1)
A compound bow, comprising of a titanium riser, along with hydraulic actuators that work together with titanium support struts to hold the limbs of the bow in place with adequate tension. The two cams on either end of the bow are customised to provide ideal draw weight and decrease required draw strength for the user. The way the limbs are constructed provides it very limited flex, however the silencing aids are already built within the limbs. The Predator bow also has an automated arrow-notching mechanism, although this does not mean that the bow has an automated firing mechanism - the method of firing is the same as a standard compound bow. This is how the bow looks like. It was already in Sarah's mother's possession at the time of her birth, and was passed on to her when she grew strong enough to use the bow properly. It is most likely a gift from her real father.
Double Fletch (Tier 1)
Sarah is capable of firing two arrows accurately at the same time due to the capability of her bow of accommodating two arrows on the notch. She is accurate with two arrows up till the 20m mark, after which each arrow deviates vertically by 10cm either way every 10m extra travelled.
Healing Touch (Tier 1)
Being the daughter of the god of medicine, Sarah is able to heal fairly minor wounds with the touch of a finger or a hand, such as healing abrasions or paper cuts.
